The outpost became the central combat zone for the IDF in the security strip, with many soldiers killed. It's unclear whether it was the fighters or the media, but in a short time, Reihan was given the dubious title "Outpost of Death." So how did it happen that the IDF established an outpost so far into Lebanon, and who exactly was this salient in the northern security zone serving? Through archival footage of photographers and reporters from the Broadcasting Authority who risked their lives for years alongside the fighters, and with testimonies from commanders and soldiers who were on the ground, Itay Asher (Doku-Tim) brings viewers into the grim reality of the Reihan outpost: from the dubious reasons that led to the establishment of an outpost so deep in Lebanon, through the bloody years of fighting, to its disbandment.
